Mapit is a simple drag-and-drop software tool which facilitates the construction of complex decision logic in HTML format. The end-users are presented with clean, clear web pages that show questions and gather answers. The navigation is setup through simple visual techniques such as dragging an arrow from page to page in the designer.

Mapit Designer Capacity
Mapit Designer Script

One of our more commonly asked questions is "What is the capacity of the software? Or how many layers of questions can you have?"

The easiest answer is "a lot." There is no predefined capacity but the person building the script may struggle with the complexity!

As an example we have loaded a Printer Troubleshooter script today as an example of how Mapit Designer can be used as a troubleshooting tool.

You can see how the script appears to the subject matter expert who is using the Mapit Designer editor. Luckily the users of the troubleshooter only see one question at a time!

Despite the scripts simple appearance there are over 100 pages of Questions and Text all linked together with over 250 conditions (the logic that takes your Answer to a Question and moves you onto the next page in the troubleshooter). That is quite a lot!

We do recommend that you daisy chain your decision trees if they get too complex.

Great software - By "daisy chain your decision trees" are you referring to simply including hyperlinks in the html output or something else? Some examples would be good
