Mapit is a simple drag-and-drop software tool which facilitates the construction of complex decision logic in HTML format. The end-users are presented with clean, clear web pages that show questions and gather answers. The navigation is setup through simple visual techniques such as dragging an arrow from page to page in the designer.

Problem Solving on Handheld Terminals

We are getting a lot of feedback saying users are creating Mapit Scripts for troubleshooting and deploying them on handheld terminals for remote troubleshooting.

Industries we are aware of include water, traffic signals, power lines companies - and we would love to hear of more.

With Mapit Designer the troubleshooting script is developed on a MS Windows computer and - when finished - the script is saved as an html file, so it will work on any handheld with a browser. That means Blackberry, iPhone, Android amongst all the others.

Remember you can download your html script onto the handheld so you may not need internet access to use your troubleshooting scripts in a remote area
